A celebratory illustrated trail created for Chichester Cathedral’s 950th anniversary, designed to engage children through storytelling, discovery, and hands-on interaction.
The A2 folded map featured illustrated navigation on one side, with eight interactive activity sections on the reverse—including recipes, spot-the-landmark challenges, eye-spy games, and reflective prompts. Character design was developed to bring personality and narrative to the experience, helping guide younger audiences through the Cathedral in an engaging and accessible way.
The result is a richly layered piece of heritage interpretation that combines illustration, education, and playful engagement to celebrate a significant milestone in the Cathedral’s history.
